Internship opportunity with Internet start-up company – Winter/Spring 2013
Deposit a Gift (http://www.depositagift.com) is seeking interns interested in gaining an "in the trenches" experience working for an early-stage Internet start-up and having a direct impact on our success.
We are in a huge growth spurt and currently seeking funding to expand. You will work side-by-side with the founder to gain unique hands-on experience in a variety of areas such as: marketing, PR, customer relations, the editorial process, social media, blogging, SEO and more. We are looking for students who are smart, enthusiastic, persistent and articulate. You will be brave enough to pick up the phone to call anyone, but not too proud to deliver a package across town. You are brimming with ideas, and have what it takes to execute on them!

Responsibilities
Assist in extending our Marketing Communications program through innovative social media tactics and press outreach.
We would also love your help with developing and launching new products for the business through research and strategic ideation.
Experience
Ideally you are majoring/minoring in marketing, communications, business or entrepreneurship.
Strong writing ability, interest or experience in public relations, online advertising and Word/Excel/Powerpoint skills a plus.
An entrepreneurial spirit is essential.
The position requires a minimum time commitment of 10-20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
