eSpark Learning seeks a Marketing Manager to join the expanding team. eSpark is a Chicago-based startup with a mission to make learning fun for students K-8 so that they can succeed in school and succeed in life. In hopes of transforming education, eSpark works with schools and teachers to integrate iPads into math and reading curricula to improve student performance. Using existing test data, we create personal learning plans that employ the best 3rd party content. Each plan is tailored specifically to the needs of individual students - thus, content is differentiated and individualized. We have vetted thousands of educational apps, games, songs, and instructional videos and have rated them based on fun and rigor; those that meet our high academic criteria have been aligned to Common Core standards and added to our curriculum. Develop and direct marketing and communication efforts to put eSpark on the national map as an education tech thought and brand leader as well create sales demand in the marketplace by establishing clearly articulated value propositions, demand generation programs, and marketing materials.

Committed to eSpark’s mission
4-8 years of experience in (B2B or B2E) strategic marketing with significant achievements in brand building and lead generation
Demonstrated collaborative working relationships with sales leaders
Experience using digital marketing tools (incl. social media) for brand building and marketing communication
Experience in start-ups and or exposure to startup/ VC-backed companies is a plus
Bachelors or Masters Degree (marketing preferred)
