Visuals are the new language of consumers. Across the web, consumers are abandoning text and letting pictures & videos do the talking. SocialGlimpz’s Consumer Engagement Management (CEM) platform enables brands to engage in a meaningful dialogue with consumers through visuals.
We are seeking a smart, creative, and extremely motivated individual who is excited by the challenges we face to come be part of our team. As an early member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to help shape our product, brand and culture. We see this internship morphing into a FTE position at the end of the internship period.

Take full ownership of our marketing and PR strategies, with the goal of initially generating "buzz" and very quickly turning that buzz into sales.
Take full ownership of product launch plans.
Establish relationships with media agencies.
Generate meaningful content to share publicly.
Maintain social media profiles and pages (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
Test the effectiveness of consumer engagement, marketing and PR techniques specific to our business.
Contribute to the design of our product and marketing material.
Engage in public speaking engagements as needed.
Help build a world class marketing organization and capabilities.
You are either located in or are willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay area.
You are passionate about shaping the future of visual media and analytics.
0-1 Years of work experience in marketing, PR or a related field.
Startup experience a definite Plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
Knowledge of digital media software – Photoshop or other graphic design software, etc. is preferred
Knowledge of video editing software – iMovie, Final Cut, or Windows Live Movie Maker is a plus
Knowledge of social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, etc.
Energy, with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow our online presence
Ability to identify a target market and “speak” to that consumer through social media
Ability to deal with uncertainty and move fast
Ability to pivot quickly
B.A. in marketing preferred but not required.
Compensation based on experience and performance.
