Working with Synchrony staff and senior management, the Marketing & Operations Assistant will perform tasks relating to the successful operation of the company, as well as aid in marketing efforts related to the company’s rebranding and recent rollout of the TiCR Innovation Analytics™ platform. The role will also consist of general support tasks as needed, including sales & marketing, market research, business development and recruiting. The Assistant will also be responsible for supporting Synchrony’s CEO as needed and will thus have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a growing business from the company’s founder.
Assist in organization-wide marketing efforts, including social media marketing, as well as more traditional marketing efforts such as helping to coordinate our presence at trade shows and corporate presentations.
Support Synchrony’s CEO as needed, including reaching out to clients on his behalf, setting up meetings, etc.
Work with the company’s CRM system to monitor clients and client contacts, keep track of the sales pipeline and help to streamline the company’s sales process.
Support business development efforts by generating sales leads from trade journals and industry sources
Aid in market research efforts by monitoring information both in print and online about CVC in order to tailor our marketing/business development efforts accordingly. Assist in recruiting efforts by monitoring incoming resumes, reaching out to candidates when necessary and tracking weekly and monthly recruiting statistics.
Work with the Controller to perform general accounting tasks including QuickBooks entry.
Perform general admin tasks as needed, including setting up conference calls and meetings, filing, ordering office supplies, etc.
Assist with other projects as assigned.
Light IT support in managing company e-mail exchange system, project management software, CRM database, domain hosting

Excellent research skills and the ability to successfully select and summarize information for decision-makers.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree. Liberal Arts focus preferred, marketing, communications, business, or other relevant focus is also acceptable.
