Overview
The Integrations Engineer manages technical engineering and support for our customers' integration with our enterprise web-based services. This is the key technical position within our Integrations team for a new and rapidly growing set of services and products. You will be on the forefront of configuring, maintaining and extending the interface between our back-end systems and the integration interfaces that customers use. Our customers include some of the largest e-commerce, travel, and content destinations on the web. Be prepared to dive into an environment that leverages cloud computing, MapReduce, machine learning, query language modeling and other interesting technologies to deliver world-class big data services to our customers!
Responsibilities
Configure and deploy a growing set of big data services for new customers
Become an expert in our back-end systems and the interface between those systems and customer integration interfaces
Develop tools to improve efficiency and reliability of customer integrations
Find creative solutions to unique customer requirements and extend the functionality of our services when necessary
Troubleshoot integration problems and performance issues
Experience
BS/MS degree in Computer Science
Solid understanding of HTTP, web-based services, HTML and CSS
Industry experience with customer relationships
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Experience with server-side web development in Java, Python, PHP, .NET, or other web frameworks
Experience with Linux tools, JavaScript, and web front-end development desired
Experience with web performance engineering, web security or SEO a plus
Education
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a strongly related discipline
