Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring a flawless deployment of our flagship product line to a myriad of handsets on all major carriers. The primary role is for you to act as an integration engineer to evolve the product for the latest devices with the latest capabilities. You will assist development with the creation of the product; work with OEMs to deploy the product; work with QA to ensure the quality of the deployment; and work with/as project management to keep the project moving forward. Your challenge is to maintain an extraordinary level of OEM and carrier satisfaction while ensuring that a handset deployment is not missed.
Experience
3+ or more years of software development/testing experience in relevant technologies
C / C++ / Java development experience; embedded a plus
Scripting experience (Perl, Python, etc.) and build engineering experience (Ant, MSBuild) a plus
Preferred, but not mandatory: Experience in handset development, integration, testing and deployment – one or more of the following: (BREW, Symbian, RIM / Blackberry, Android, J2ME, Windows Mobile, or Palm devices)
JUnit experience, ability to setup a testing framework also a plus
Demonstrable experience with software testing and release processes
Superior customer / client interfacing ability
Natural problem solving and critical thinking ability
Self-starting, self-governing, initiative-taking, team-playing approach
English language skills, spoken and written; Korean a VERY BIG PLUS
Solid communication skills, ability to attend to detail
Software development throughout the lifecycle
Commercial product deployment
Education
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a technical field from or equivalent combination of education and experience.
