CueNotes is "social liner notes" for music. Our mission is to empower friends, fans, artists and experts to broaden and share their passion for music. We’re adding a Node.js engineer to our team.
We are:
- A small seed-funded super-passionate team with rock-star advisers.
- Successful startup founders with successful exits including IPO and acquisitions.
- Very close to launching our first product - an iOS app that will change the way people experience music.
- Our stack is node.js, mongoDB and some rails.
- Based in San Fran, but our lead engineer is in NJ - so you could be anywhere in between!

Responsibilities
You love node.js and mongoDB. You don't even go to the bathroom without a callback.
You're passionate about great design, programming, getting things done and having fun doing it.
You've built node.js apps, know how to deploy and manage servers, and how to manage a large mongoDB database.
You are comfortable working as part of a remote team
You function well in a fast-paced startup environment where constant change is the norm and excellence is expected
Great Pluses
You love music. Even better, you're a musician (we could use a bass player).
You have iOS experience. You have an app in the app store.
Experience
Experience building a Node.js application or service on top of MongoDB
Significant experience developing web applications and working with RESTful APIs.
Skills
Node.js, MongoDB. Nice to have: EC2/Heroku, iOS/Objective-C.
