National Account Executive

Responsibilities
Designs strategies that address customer needs and issues while meeting assigned quota; targets and prioritizes accounts and activities; analyzes competitors’ activities and adjusts appropriately; utilizes corporate office resources effectively.
Strategically plans sales calls by outlined objectives and action steps.
Reads the market, recognizes trends, and communicates that information to the Business Development Director; Demonstrates knowledge of account history, the processes and procedures specific to each district, and the key issues for each account.
Responds to customers requests and problems with appropriate timeliness and concern; Develops professional credibility and trust with the customer;
Provides timely and complete information needed for trainers and outside resources to perform effectively in the territory; Uses voicemail and email appropriately; Updates Salesforce.com regularly
Knowledge of special education to converse comfortably with customers and understand their needs; effectively communicates the major features, advantages, and benefits of each product; Displays a thorough knowledge of state and local adoption timelines in order to be at the right place at the right time.
Collaborate with marketing team on event-based and/or inbound initiatives (e.g., tradeshows, online webinars).
Knowledge of the consultative selling approach to drive sales and establish relationships with key institutional customers.
Experience
3 years experience minimum working in special education or special education sales required
1 – 4+ years of consultative inside and/or outside sales experience with a successful track record of achievement, prospecting and cold calling
General education-technology or education sales is a huge plus (but special ed experience required)
Experience working in a startup or entrepreneurial environment is a strong preference
Experience working with inbound or digital marketing is a huge plus
Must be open to travel (within the Tri-State)
Compensation
Our compensation package includes a base salary + performance based-bonuses!
