Overview
We seek a stellar chief of Network Engineering to join our founder team. Now is the time to get in on the ground floor and make an impact.
Responsibilities
We're looking for a proven technical leader to battle-test our pilot network and design & implement our next generation network which will optimize performance, security, and low cost operations.
The Director will be a thought leader, mentor, and top individual contributor of netBlazr source code, design architecture, and implementation.
Experience
Creative problem solver, with ability to learn quickly
Strong desire to make an impact in wireless, networking and software development
Ability to both mentor and lead members of netBlazr team
Strong desire to “roll up sleeves” to solve technical problems by producing code and debugging fundamental design issues
Cisco-certified Design Expert (CCDE), or equivalent experience
7+ years of networking experience
Extensive knowledge of OSPF, BGP, and other routing algorithms
Knowledge of cryptography including encryption protocols, and security and performance implications
Knowledge of wireless security, Public Key Infrastructure, RADIUS and other AAA solutions
Knowledge of Mikrotik router OS a plus
Programming expertise in Java, as well as scripting languages

Education
BS degree in network engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering or similar field
