AppNexus is looking for a talented Senior Sales Representative to take responsibility for managing a book of business accounts and identifying new business opportunities within the real-time bidding marketplace. You will work as part of a Team to manage and grow AppNexus client relationships. The New Business Sales Exec is responsible for sales contribution, retention, growth and value in existing accounts – and will work with various individuals across multiple internal Teams (Product, Marketing, Client Services, etc.) to promote value-added services to accounts, penetrating into all areas of the business including subsidiaries and partnerships.
Responsibilities
Manage all inbound sales leads and develop a focused prospect list based on company goals and market needs
Display a thorough understanding of ad serving, ad networks and data management
Serve as the face of AppNexus
Develop, prepare and lead sales presentations and product demonstrations for prospects
Create strong relationships with senior-level contacts at client organizations (both technical and business related)
Administrative responsibilities include maintaining sales pipeline reporting, status reporting, and forecasting
Experience
Strong track record of closing new business and contract negotiation
2-5 years online technology sales experience and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals
Ability to speak confidently about technology solutions for the ad network and media management market
Entrepreneurial and focused mindset
Experience in building relationships at senior levels, i.e. C-level
Superior presentation and written communication skills
BA/BS degree
