Overview
Support the implementation and use of McKesson Horizon suite at a ~250 bed hospital in a resort community in the coastal mid-Atlantic region.
Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for analysis, planning, development, and implementation of new products to support electronic medical record documentation. The Nurse Informaticist will serve as the primary Clinical Information resource for implementation and ongoing clinical support for the McKesson Horizon clinical product line. Will work collaboratively with all clinical departments and IS to foster understanding and translation of clinical needs to optimize the design of the hospital's Clinical Information Systems.
Experience
We are seeking relevant clinical experience of 3-5 years, plus 1-3 years information systems experience. Experience with clinical performance improvement, data analysis and data management associated with electronic medical records management will be highly desirable.
Skills
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong change management skills, presentation and instructional ability, creative problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office applications are also required.
