Salescoop is a social e-commerce NYC startup that revolutionizes the way we shop for luxury and lifestyle brands. Our mission is simple: better deals, together. Together, we aim to save our members time and money for products that matter - by harnessing the power of group buying online. Salescoop aims to usher in a new paradigm of commerce by reshaping the conventional supplier-buyer structure - placing greater purchasing power in your hands. At Salescoop, we believe in the power of the social web - connecting consumers towards the cooperative goal of "better deals, together." Our mission resonates with today's value-conscious consumers - empowering them to achieve significant savings while making shopping online a more social and fun experience. As a Salescoop Online Community Manager, you'll be responsible for unleashing your passion for shopping (and deal-hunting) while leveraging social media to a wider audience via community management and engagement. Sound like a fit for you?
Reporting directly to the company's Chief Marketing Officer, you'll be tasked with commanding large community sites while developing/implementing various actionable skills:
Aggregate relevant industry and product information that reflects Salescoop's mission of better deals, together.
Monitor popular communities such as Twitter and Facebook for interesting discussion around highly-targeted shopping/industry verticals.
Utilize social media tools such as Tweetdeck, Google Reader and FriendFeed to find the pulse of shopping and deal-hunting across the web.
Find and actively participate in discussion across community sites, social networks, blogs and micro-blogs.
Collaborate with company management to ensure that the Salescoop brand is reflected accurately and consistently across comprehensive tactics.
Identify and engage key stakeholders who are as passionate as you about shopping, finding a great deal and sharing it with friends.
If you live and breathe retail therapy and consider yourself an online maven, we want to hear from you. Here are some other areas that will make you stand out in front of the crowd:
