ReviMedia is now seeking a full-time Online Marketing Assistant. The Online Marketing Assistant is responsible for executing ReviMedia’s online marketing and communications plan and to support corporate communication, PR activities.
The Marketing Assistant oversees and maintains ReviMedia’s Web site (including redesign, implementation of new Web tools, content management, and search engine optimization), its e-mail marketing efforts, its social media accounts, and all related accounts.
Develop strategic plan for using weekly marketing e-mails to promote ReviMedia’s platform LXP to lead buyers and publishers
Develop e-mail content and to design e-mail campaigns.
Build campaigns and deploy using e-mail marketing vendor.
Maintain e-mail marketing lists and strategize and implement campaigns to grow list.
Ensure that all campaigns adhere to SPAM laws and to e-mail marketing best practices.
Keep up-to-date on new e-mail marketing trends, tools, and integrations and use these new resources to optimize.
Develop social media plan to support promotion of ReviMedia and its platform
Grow current social media community, increasing community interactions, and establishing new social media accounts where appropriate. Social media platforms include, but are not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube and blog.
Maintain and keep www.revimedia.com up to date
Develop new Web site sections ( e.g.,mini sites, customer-specific sites) with unique and sometimes interactive content to support company goals.
Write content articles and guest blog articles
Support external PR company and keep track of PR activities
Demonstrated experience with online marketing campaigns, Web site management, PR support and social media
Experience working with a creative services team to design the user interface for new Web site features and functionality
Experience mapping out scope and writing requirements for Web site development projects; working with developers; managing the development of Web site redesigns, upgrades, and additions; and testing new Web site features
Experience using Web analytics software; experience with Google Analytics
Strong writing and editing skills
Basic knowledge of search engine optimization; experience optimizing Web sites for search engines
Basic experience implementing online advertising campaigns; experience with Google AdWords Experience implementing and analyzing marketing e-mail campaigns using a third-party e-mail service provider
Understanding of how SPAM laws apply to e-mail marketing campaigns
Demonstrated experience using Facebook and Twitter to implement campaigns that support business goals Competencies and skills the position will be evaluated on:
Up-to-date on online marketing best practices and standards
Minimal 2 years’ relevant experience with email marketing, PR, social media and innovative online marketing technologies is a MUST!!!
Hands-on HTML & CSS experience required
Love for writing in general
Self-starter, able to manage multiple projects/deadlines, work independently, analytical, ongoing, self-driven, engagement with social media, strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work cross-departmentally and collaborate within internal and external teams
Attention to detail
B.A. or B.S. required in Marketing or related field
