Meltwater Reach is the latest incubation by the Meltwater Group [link]. Meltwater Reach provides a user-friendly, award winning SaaS solution to better service companies’ growing need for efficient online ad management across platforms, such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook etc.

Companies spend $17 billion a year on paid search in the US alone. We are forming a team of sophisticated, entrepreneurial and driven individuals here in San Francisco to develop an international SaaS powerhouse to serve this fast growing market.

Online advertising is not a fad or a gimmick, nor is this just another sales job.

Our team will not offer a cubicle, nor will we ask you to work off a script. You will work autonomously with a team that has extensive experience bringing SaaS solutions to market on an international scale, and you will help develop a new product line.

This position offers you the opportunity to work with marketing professionals in companies that actually interest you. Sports, technology, media or travel companies – whatever you are passionate about. Thousands of organizations are facing the challenge of getting the most out of their advertising dollars. They need our help.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Lead generation and engaging with prospective clients
• Negotiation and closing of long term contracts
• CRM updates and software / service deployment
• Forecasting
• Recruitment and training of new team members
• Anything else that you would deem urgent and business critical to our operation

Required Traits & Skills:

• Desire to work in a start-up environment
• Keen interest in getting in on the ground floor and growing the business from its infancy
• Have an appreciation, maybe even a passion, for sales
• Self-starter and can work autonomously
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work with people
• Current Web technology expertise
• Minimum 1-2 years of business experience (software sales a plus)
