Overview
Opinmind is seeking a seasoned Operations Engineer to join our team. The position is full-time and is based in Santa Clara, CA. You will need skills in implementing and maintaining services that handle hundreds of millions requests per day.
Responsibilities
Improve performance, availability and scalability of the service
Install/configure servers and network
Monitor service stability, security, and performance
Troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, applications and network
Participate in 24x7 on-call support
Experience
4+ years of experience with Linux
Experience with designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining large scale mission-critical systems
Excellent scripting and programming skills
Familiarity with various open source monitoring tools such as Nagios and Linux-HA
PLUS: Experience with MySQL, Memcache, Apache, and Tomcat
PLUS: Experience with load balancers, switches, and routers
Education
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
