OpDemand is looking for Linux operations engineers and system administrators to join our team and help build our library of automated, distributed systems.

Responsibilities
Configuring firewalls, load-balancers, SSL accelerators and other networking equipment
Deploying a wide range of open-source software including web servers, caching systems, messaging systems, databases and infrastructure services
Building functional prototypes of new technologies, language stacks and databases (e.g. NoSQL)
Automating deployment and management using a simple JSON-based template language
Skills
Bash / Python
Ubuntu Linux / Debian packaging
HTTP / JSON
AWS / OpenStack
Education
Bachelor's or equivalent. We are looking for strong engineers more than a degree.
