Operations Engineer

Write scripts and software systems to provision, manage, and monitor our infrastructure
Determine appropriate and cost-effective hardware and/or cloud computing resources
Participate in 24/7/365 on-call response team
2+ years experience at a major traffic web site — 1+ billion monthly page views, 10+ million monthly uniques
Intimate knowledge of infrastructure in all areas including: power and space utilization, specing, procuring and provisioning hardware, network topology
Familiar with industry best practices around monitoring and event response
Comfortable with a continuous release model of software development
Skills (One skill per line. Skills will be made into a list automatically.)
Cloud infrastructure experience (EC2, Rackspace, etc.)
SQL and NoSQL datastore experience
