The Optimization Analyst is responsible for deriving equations and algorithms to optimize billions of direct response ad impressions/day to maximize client ROI. This role involves building actionable models on Terabytes of data to be used in a globally distributed real-time bidding system. Our clients, like eBay, are some of the internets largest and most sophisticated direct marketers, who are using targeted advertisements to increase their bottom line. We are seeking candidates who are proactive, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and results-oriented.
Create correlative and clustering models based on inventory, user behavior and client goals
Understand the complex environment of online advertising and user behavior
Tune algorithms for advanced targeting efficiency in real-time bidding
Strong Math, Statistics and/or Physics background
Experience in modeling behaviors on large data sets to build practical systems.
2-3 years experience with statistical analysis tools: R, Stata, SPSS
Entrepreneurial and focused mindset
BA/BS in Math/CS/Statistics/Physics, Masters a plus
