The Company:
Powerlinx is a funded and fast growing startup whose mission is simple: connect the world’s businesses to make them more successful. We’re building a business growth network that enables business leaders to gain access to new markets, strategic partnerships, capital sources and connections to ensure that they deliver on their business goals.

The Job:
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic work-from-home sales representatives that will be crucial in making the Powerlinx’s platform grow. The one and only job function is to outreach to our lead list via phone to enroll new members.
Responsibilities
Outbound, professional cold calling from daily lead list (provided)
Do the necessary lead research to acquire new sign ups
Be creative and persuasive with our sample pitch
Enter leads via our unique customer acquisition process
Minimum of 15 hours maximum of 40 hours per week
Experience
Prior telemarketing experience is an extreme plus
At least 1 year prior business or sales experience
A computer with internet connectivity and stable connection (min 15mbps), and headset capability (headset can be provided)
Google Chrome web browser to run TalkDesk (experience with TalkDesk a plus)
Comfortable with Google Docs
Fluent in English (other languages can be a plus)
Skills
Charismatic phone voice
Loves to speak on the phone, and is not afraid of cold calls
Comfortable with Google Docs
Able to stay on top of communications from the company
Education
Undergrad or higher
Compensation
Benefits:
- Flexible work schedule, make your own hours calling people when their businesses are open (10-8pm is usually ideal)
- Work from wherever, as long as a professional call is able to be made (calling from a cafe is not ideal!)
- Compensation: base + signup incentives
