PHP Engineer

Overview
Kargo, the premier Mobile Publisher Platform, is looking to add an in-house and full-time PHP Engineer to our growing team. You’ll be working in a scalable and high traffic environment with a group of dedicated and like-minded engineers to create beautiful and usable products for our users and clients.

This position is based in our New York office.
Responsibilities
Set expectations and establish priorities throughout the development life cycle.
Develop for both frontend and backend, ensuring great user experiences and 
efficient server-side management.
Being at the forefront of the mobile advertising space, you’ll need to stay 
up-to-date on the industry and work with the team to troubleshoot new issues that 
won’t have solutions on Stack Overflow.
Kargo is a fun and fast-paced startup environment where everyone wears multiple. 
hats. As such, every day won’t be your standard 9-5, and we may need you at off-hours.
Experience
Fluency in all aspects of a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP)
Experience with Zend Framework or another MVC framework
Fluency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery
Comfortable working in a Linux shell environment with version control experience
Skills
Whether you use Firebug, Chrome’s built-in Developer Tools, Charles Web 
Debugging Proxy, Fiddler, or Wireshark (or preferably, a combination), you’ll need to be able to adapt your skillset to diagnose difficult issues that would leave your everyday web developers scratching their heads. 
Further, the ideal PHP Engineering will have strong verbal and written communication skills, will be a true team player with a commitment to success, and will be able to thrive in a face-paced, rapidly-changing development environment.
