Overview
ihiji, an entrepreneurial start-up Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, is growing its core team and seeking an experienced Web Application Developer. You’ll be accountable for ongoing development of our web based systems including back end tools and client facing user interface. In this role, the successful candidate will take a leadership role in analyzing, designing and implementing existing and future front end solutions for our system.
ihiji’s invision product provides an intuitive remote monitoring and support tool for network enabled products in homes and small businesses. Our product is a scalable, cloud-based SaaS solution that is commercially available and provides a secure gateway for technology providers to remotely monitor, service and maintain all aspects of a client’s in home electronic systems. At ihiji we develop using the latest technologies and there is always an opportunity to learn and contribute to various projects.

Responsibilities
Work with a other designers and engineers in further developing our web based software system utilizing AJAX, PHP & JSON
Continuous development and improvement on existing web interface
Work with Product Managers to create feature additions based on user feedback
Meet demanding deadlines and work through new issues in a self-sustaining fashion
Work reliably in development, staging and production environments
Ability to develop strong test cases to ensure quality production code
Experience
Familiarity with Javascript Libraries Such as JQuery
Linux or Unix Experience
Familiarity with SVN or Other Code Revisioning Systems
Strict Attention to Detail
BS. in Computer Science or Equivalent Street Cred
Desire to Work in a Fast-Paced, Start-up Environment Where Opportunities and Challenges Are Great.
A Strong Work Ethic, Sense of Humor (Even Bad Humor) and Collaborative Spirit
Competitive Table Tennis Experience Is A Bonus
Skills
Strong Web Application Development Skills (PHP, AJAX, JSON)
Strong Javascript Skills
Ability to Troubleshoot and Maintain CSS
Strong Database Knowledge - SQL and/or NoSQL (MongoDB a bonus)
Education
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent street cred
