GameGround is a personalized gaming app that enhances games on PC, Facebook, Xbox and any website and connects players of all types. The lightweight GameGround app learns not only what games its users are playing, but also what they are achieving, enabling it to provide new missions, rewards, high score incentives and ways to share success amongst friends.
As a Web Analytics intern at GameGround you will assist the marketing team in tracking and reporting key performance index (KPI) metrics, analyzing user behavior and providing recommendations/strategies to improve our users' experience based on data you're analyzing on a daily basis. If you're interested in web analytics and love creating actionable recommendations based on observable data, this internship is for you!
Provide daily data insights to the GameGround executive team - help us track KPIs, monitor performance, and develop product strategy based on the data we're seeing
Monitor Social Media trends/data to tie back to our site performance
Get actionable! Use our A/B testing platform to test features and make our product better/easier to use
Respond to ad-hoc requests for user engagement data, traffic trends, conversion funnel status, and more
Must be able to commit to at least 15 hours per week for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Strong statistical analysis skills
Interest in the Gaming industry is a BIG plus
Familiarity with internet trends and technology
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Omniture, or related analytics platform
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred that you are working on a Bachelor's or Master's degree or are a recent grad
