Partner Manager

Overview
VersionOne is looking for a dynamic Partner Manager to manage and support its consulting partner program and help VersionOne continue to be the market leader in Agile development tools. The Partner Manager will be the primary point of contact between VersionOne and its agile consulting partners supporting business development and sales initiatives. Our partner network is one of the keys to the success of VersionOne. It allows us to provide a holistic solution of agile tools and services, and effectively educate the broader agile consulting community on the benefits and value of VersionOne.
Responsibilities
Responsible for building and nurturing overall partner relationships
Effectively communicate with partners to ensure understanding of our partner program benefits
Educate and train partners on the value of Agile tools and how VersionOne can support their customer’s agile adoption
Qualify partners for agile consulting program and advance them through the program
Aid in lead generation from partners to drive partner sales activity
Provide necessary resources and training to partners to encourage them to recommend VersionOne
Understand partners’ expertise and availability to better serve VersionOne customers and prospects when driving services leads externally
Ensure partner success by identifying concerns and coordinate with internal teams to develop solutions
Effectively encourage partner participation in marketing campaigns, based on program level
Manage partner recruitment efforts ( i.e. recruitment calls, partner qualification, partner follow-up)
Accurately maintain partner data in salesforce.com
Help to create and deliver content for partner communications
Be the single point of contact for the partner and bring in resources from marketing, product and support as necessary
Skills
5 + years of experience with partner relationship, channel and vendor management
Knowledge of the consulting space and how to work with consultants
Ability to establish rapport and build trust with partners
Collaborative approach and the ability to problem solve
Energetic with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and responsibilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Attention to detail with a sense of urgency
High level of initiative and pragmatism
Proficiency with Salesforce.com
Familiarity of the development and execution of reseller agreements desirable
Experience within the agile development community and an understating of Agile tools a plus
BA/BS or equivalent experience
