As part of Meebo’s fun, dynamic business development team, the Partnership Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for existing business partners. In this role, you will forge deep relationships with some of the world’s foremost Web publishers, interact regularly with key decision-makers, develop a strong understanding of social graph optimization, and provide continuous support through customized analysis.
Manage and grow a portfolio of partnerships, providing ongoing strategic consultation and support.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of social media strategy as it relates to publisher goals of traffic, engagement, and revenue.
Analyze partner metrics to identify trends and issues, and develop recommendations on improving performance and profitability.
Actively collect publisher feedback and work cross-functionally within Meebo to further product and opportunity development.
Estimated travel: 15-20%.
Minimum of three years of work experience in partner or account management in the Internet industry
Strong passion for social media and consumer Internet technology
Thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to be highly analytical and strategic in approach to problem-solving, with ability to provide thoughtful recommendations or solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while paying strict attention to detail and deadlines.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills a plus.
Working knowledge of computer programming languages a plus.
Working knowledge of graphic design a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA/master’s degree a plus.
