Partnership Manager with one of the hottest social mission business in NYC!

at Catchafire in New York, NY   —   Apr 15, 2014   |  
You will be a member of a small, high performing outreach team responsible for meeting our revenue and mission goals. You will identify high quality, high impact social good organizations that demonstrate commitment to enhancing their impact in partnership with our community.

As the initial liaison between Catchafire and our nonprofit and social enterprise partners, you will clearly articulate the value and mutual benefits of a Catchafire partnership.

The right candidate will view this role as an opportunity to:

Work tirelessly everyday to research and recruit new high quality organizational partners into the Catchafire community and set aggressive personal goals to exceed targets for outreach.
Strategically develop a healthy pipeline of high quality organizations that are good fits for our professional community.
Conduct diligent follow-up with organizations.
Test different strategies to stay up to date on the world of nonprofit leadership and to track the evolving needs and priorities of the organizations we serve.
Help to develop a strategy to pursue the best partnership opportunities with our nonprofit and social enterprise partners, in coordination with the Partnership team.
Research and generate new potential partners through networks, attending industry events, and other channels
Responsibility for launching and growing one of the new cities we'll be expanding to this year.
Support and strengthen organizational culture, values and reputation.
Participate with the Partnership team to create key partnership processes and communication decisions.
Directly report to the Lead Partnership Manager.
At least 3~4 years of work experience in business development, marketing, fundraising, ideally with experience in nonprofits or social enterprises.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Exceptional persuasion and negotiation skills.
Motivation to develop a long term career in sales, marketing or business development.
Proven team-player and experience as an effective member of a close-knit team.
Exceptional ability to execute on ideas and implement changes based on feedback.
Motivation to work in a fast-paced, goal oriented environment and thrive under pressure.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
Excellent research skills.
Personable, relationship builder.
Exceptional organization and prioritization skills
Solid list of high level connections and contacts within social good organizations.
Enthusiasm to chip in and do anything that helps the team. Nothing is beneath you.
Energetic and outgoing attitude. Enjoy networking, and forging new relationships.
Driven and hungry to learn.
Two month trial for all new hires which is performance based compensation only.
Following completion of two month trial competitive base salary, performance based incentives on top as well as comprehensive benefits.
