Overview
We're looking to hire a temporary or full-time UI developer to help us launch V1.0 of Boomrat, a funded and new electronic dance music platform that is currently being built in PHP. We need someone who lives for sleek, sexy design, understands Web 2.0 principles, and enjoys challenges. Loving music (particularly electronic dance music) is a plus, but not required! You must be willing to work in our office in Los Angeles, but we can be a little lenient if you're a true rockstar developer.
Responsibilities
Work with UX designer to build a user experience that is intuitive, simple, and beautiful
Build sleek, sexy transitions around the site
Monitor feedback and user analysis to optimize the site
Devise ways to improve interactivity and engagement with users
Experience
Previous portfolio work will be taken into consideration (ideally 3+ years of experience)
Past start-up experience a +, but not required

Compensation
