Overview
We are looking for a senior engineer who wants to be part of the founding vision and team. This person will be the first full-time person outside of the original founding team.

About Pinchd:

Pinchd is a San Francisco based start-up founded by Stanford Alumni. We help you discover meaningful and original activities in your city. You can recommend adventures you’ve had, discover new activities to try and finally purchase local adventures. .
Responsibilities
Implementation of UI, design, and database architecture
Design, test, develop, and deploy production-ready features
Lead development of major new features
Refinement and optimize existing feature set
Experience
Ruby on Rails
JavaScript (Prototype framework a plus)
SQL (PostgreSQL a plus)
HTML/CSS
Analytics experience (GoogleAnalytics/KISSmetrics/Google website optimizer)
GIT
Rails Gem/Plugin writing experience
Third-Party API (Twitter, Facebook, Yelp etc.)
Familiar with Heroku
UIZE (JS Framework, extra bonus points)
DNS configuration (CNAME/A records)
Google Analytic Export API experience
Skills
Can take ownership and execute projects
Loves designing and coding
Understands and can implement A/B tests
In the Bay Area and can commute occasionally to an office in San Francisco
Highly self-motivated, smart, and scrappy
Willing to learn new technologies and think of creative solutions
Depending on task can be a perfectionist or extremely scrappy
Education
Does not matter.
