Playful Storyteller Internship at Launchpad Toys (Marketing, Social Media, PR)

Launchpad Toys is looking for a playful storyteller to help with marketing and social media efforts. If you're interested in helping to create and market the future of digital toys for kids, please check out our iPad app Toontastic ( and send us an email at with the following:
- What is the best ice cream flavor and why?
- Your resume. Boring, yes, but very informative.
- Links to relevant work that you're super proud of.
- A link to a 60-second video on YouTube in which you introduce yourself and pitch one idea for promoting our apps that will KNOCK OUR SOCKS OFF
This 3-month full-time paid internship would focus on the following:
Creating and managing online storytelling contests
PR outreach to mommy bloggers and app review sites
Writing blog articles and parent guides on Creative Play and Learning
Building a healthy user base on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Tumblr
Planning and hosting fun events in the Bay Area for kids and parents
A bit about you:
You're energetic, charismatic, hard working, and gosh darn't people like you!
We ask you for a creative idea for a promotion and you spit out 7
You live near San Francisco
You have a degree in something pertaining to marketing, communications, business, education, etc.
You're extremely tech/social-media savvy. Photoshop, Facebook, Final Cut... ain't no thang
You're a fast worker and you love to roll up your sleeves to help out on anything
You're a great writer. Your favorite punctuation mark may or may not be the Interrobang
