We are looking for a power electronics engineer to add core functionality, create new features, and improve upon our electric powertrain products and develop exciting new products. This position offers a high level of autonomy, creative problem solving and leadership growth opportunity.

Responsibilities
Power electronic product development and manufacturing support
Contribution in the areas of hardware engineering, thermal management, digital control and software
Power electronic advanced technology development
Some international and domestic travel may be required
Experience
Experienced with PCB layout, EMC, EMI and regulatory requirements
Experienced in control system analysis, simulation and verification
Real-time embedded control hardware and software experience (preferred)
Motor drives and motor control experience (preferred)
Product development and electronics manufacturing experience (preferred)
Solid grasp of good hardware and software engineering practices
Good communication skills
Skills
Solid understanding of power electronic switching devices and their applications
Strong skills in power circuit design, construction, heat transfer, testing and failure analysis
Familiar with DC/DC, DC/AC and AC/DC topologies including resonant and soft-switching circuits
Education
BSEE, MSEE or PhD in the areas of power electronics, power engineering or electric machines
