Overview
AppNexus is seeking a technical Product Architect with a strong background in software development and a sincere passion for technology to play a key role in AppNexus' entire product development process. The Product Architect will work closely with and often coordinate across our engineering and product management teams to facilitate all aspects of technical design and integration. This role provides a significant amount of responsibility for and exposure to our full technology stack and requires a great understanding and appreciation for the business challenges AppNexus aims to solve.

It will provide you the opportunity to architect and drive the technical components of our highly complex advertising technology platform that processes over 10 Billion ads generating over 10TB of data every single day.

Responsibilities
Work with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements and product vision into elegant technical design.
Develop detailed plans for complex projects often with changing requirements, limited resources, and fixed deadlines.
Identify and address operational or architectural gaps and dependencies required to support new product features
Provide technical leadership and often drive complex technical integrations with clients and 3rd party partners.
Make critical, time-sensitive decisions, weighing all options and interdependencies.
Track and and manage product development schedules.
Write scripts and build tools as needed to support business needs.
Support our client services team to solve escalated technical issues.
Skills
Passion for building tools and solutions that help customers and internal teams
Experience with managing external customers
Ability to develop creative solutions to address complex technical challenges
Understanding of engineering deployment lifecycles in a fast paced environment.
Ability to speak about and understand strategic implications of both the business and technical challenges
Successful track record leading and working with cross-functional project teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work with a high degree of independence.
Education
BS Degree (or equivalent), Computer Science or Engineering Degree required.
