Work with a team of curriculum innovators, internal stakeholders and software product development teams to guide the curriculum product from idea to conception and launch, ensuring fidelity to the product vision and quality of final product.
Consult with stakeholders to develop product requirements and strategies to define product positioning and go-to market plans.
Identify and prioritize product requirements based on insight into the customer, market and positioning strategy.
Functions as product “evangelist” and subject matter expert.
Collaborates with external partners to identify and analyze market opportunities and evaluate competitive offerings. Ensure profitability of products; negotiate with vendors.
Communicates customer requirements and critical product risks and decisions to executive management.
Basic Requirements of Product Manager:
3+ years of Education Product Management experience
Demonstrated experience with full ownership of a product
Preferred Requirements of Product Manager:
Masters degree preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience within a software development environment preferred
