Overview
LocalUp Solutions, LLC is launching a new subsidiary to implement a disruptive, scalable business model aligned with emerging social media and mobile trends. We need a brilliant, hardworking product manager to take responsibility for all aspects of building and running the subsidiary: hiring and leading a team, product design and ongoing support.
The ideal candidate will be not only a product manager but also an investor, contributing his or her own funds alongside LocalUp’s, in exchange for a significant equity stake. However, we will consider candidates interested in the product manager role but not in investing. Of course we’d also like to hear from investors, even if they’re not interested in product management.

Responsibilities
Recruit and lead a team of designers, programmers and support techs.
Work with multiple stakeholders to determine detailed product requirements.
Act as a liaison to existing LocalUp staff, who will contribute technology, marketing and call center expertise.
Tirelessly do whatever it takes to get an exciting new product off the ground.
Skills
Understanding of usability and information architecture
Ability to recruit and manage a team that includes technical personnel
Familiarity with social media and mobile application development
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education
BS/BA equivalent degree
