The Product Marketing Manager for Mobile will work closely with the Marketing leads to define and execute the strategy and development for marketing SoundCloud’s official mobile apps in all markets, regions and devices. He/she will research plans for future strategy and help to make SoundCloud's mobile apps the best in the business through data-driven insight and a solid understanding of customer needs and behaviours. He/she will also work closely with the Marketing Communications Manager to ensure suitable and customised consumer messaging for mobile users.
Develop the marketing strategy & positioning for SoundCloud’s mobile apps
Maintain & promote SoundCloud via all App Stores, distribution & editorial channels
Define & execute go-to-market strategy for new products and features
Successfully market SoundCloud's mobile apps to new markets and regions
Optimise the product experience and marketing message for mobile users
Conduct market research and competitive analysis into mobile sound sharing
5+ years experience in product marketing / mobile space
BSc. or BA from one of the world's best schools required. MBA preferred.
Quantitative but also great communication skills
Deep knowledge of mobile world and clear opinions on the future of mobile
Capability to define and execute on strategic items on own initiative
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst still delivering amazing work
