We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join the team. The PMM will help determine key value propositions and differentiators; conduct market, customer, and competitive research; define vertical market messaging; manage the product Go-to-Market processes and work closely with sales and client services to develop compelling sales tools and oversee related marketing efforts and activities. The PMM must have experience in mobile, enterprise software or B2B technology marketing. Vertical marketing experience in healthcare is a huge plus.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with key mobile phone technology platforms such as iOS and Android as this information is core to the TigerText products and services.
Help define and drive the product definition process, including positioning and key product messaging.
Closely follow emerging technology, consumer, and societal trends and make recommendations for how products will leverage or fit into those emerging trends.
Analyze competitive landscape and keep sales and management team apprised of key developments.
Work closely with Product Management to orchestrate a cohesive Go-to-Market process and execution.
Work with Marketing Communications on the development of product launch activities, press releases and marketing materials.
Assist in educating internal and external audiences regarding new product and feature introductions.
Tailor high-level marketing content or write new strategic or vertical marketing content to support market needs.
Become the product champion within TigerText and to external constituencies.
Develop documents including key roles, challenges/hot buttons, applications of our services to solve pain points, benefits and differentiators.
Develop and manage the Go-to-Market project plan and ensure smooth transitions from launch through sustaining and EOL for all new products.
‘Key messages’ document for use in all related marketing communications activities.
Develop thought leadership pieces, including case studies, white papers and other tools and content (writing).
Analysis of competitive landscape to include overview of competitor strengths, weaknesses, positioning against TigerText, and leading questions for Sales to unhook them.
5-7+ years strategic, product, or vertical marketing experience in mobile, enterprise software or B2B technology.
Able to effectively gather and synthesize disparate information into a cohesive, compelling message.
Writing skills are critical (VERY CRITICAL) - excellent writing skills is a must.
Ability to drive projects forward, a motivated self-starter operating with a sense of urgency, discipline and focus.
Demonstrated experience working effectively with a cross-functional team consisting of Sales, Product Management, Client Services and Marketing.
Proven experience growing technology product revenues year over year a big plus!
BS/BA in Marketing or related area, MBA or equivalent work experience.
