Program Coordinator at OnGreen

Overview
OnGreen is the world’s largest cleantech social marketplace. Members from across the globe work together, connecting the best ideas in cleantech to funding and expertise and translating IP into ROI. Nearly 300 start-ups have posted $1.9B in funding opportunities from 35 countries, and our surveys have shown that more than half of those start-ups are contacted by prospective investors as a result of posting. More recently, OnGreen has launched a Deal Accelerator (DA) program where we work with a subset of top deals to provide more feedback and exposure to investors in the U.S., China and other markets. The DA requires a lot of outreach, document exchange and scheduling with companies in the U.S. and China in particular. We’re looking for a Program Coordinator to provide administrative assistance on those activities.
Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator will provide administrative and programmatic support for the Deal Acceleration program in the U.S. and China including scheduling, coordination of events and travel, follow-up coordination with the OnGreen U.S. and China staff, and development of outreach materials.
Skills
3-4 years of administrative experience with a fast-growing company
Mastery of online coordination tools such as event management solutions, email, google calendar, skype
Eagerness and aptitude to learn new coordination tools, like activeCollab
Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese a big plus
Experience in working in the Cleantech space a plus
Fantastic written and verbal communication skills: gets things across in crisp, concise fashion
Ability to work well under pressure and with shifting priorities
Bullet-proof execution, organization and follow through skills
Bachelors degree preferred
3 strong work references required, with at least 2 coming from former managers
May be open to hiring someone who lives outside of Los Angeles, but, in that case, candidate must have experience and references from previous virtual work
Open to contract work or regular employment
