Currently, we have a great opportunity for a User Interface Programmer in our Los Angeles, CA office. Responsibilities
Write, test and debug User Interface code for our products (both PC and next generation consoles).
Programming tasks directly related to User Interfaces
Liaise with designers, producers and artists to implement new UI features.
Ability to write clear, clean, readable, portable, reliable, and manageable code.
Experience
At least 2 years programming experience with Actionscript (2 & 3) and Flash
Experience creating User Interfaces with Flex 3
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Able to focus and work without micro-management
Must be legally authorized or able to obtain legal authorization to work in the US
Have worked at least two commercial or shipped game projects as programmer (internship is okay)
Has a demonstrable interest in the game industry
Experience with AIR
Familiarity with XMPP and web services
Great written and oral communication skills
Experience in an Agile development team including writing unit tests
Knowledge of other non-Actionscript ECMA languages and multiple Flash editors
Programming experience with C++
Education
B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Compensation
Depending on Experience
