The Company's management team combines technical expertise with extensive international operating experience gained with some of the world's major oil companies.
Responsibilities
Deliver timely and accurate estimates in accordance with the approved estimating process and system.
Ensure all relevant parties are fully aware of their roles and deliverables with respect to the estimating process.
Provide leadership and direction to the Contractor estimators.
Provide support and guidance to all estimators for development.
Take ownership for estimating function and improvements, plus ensure integrity of data being processed
Focal point for all estimating requests.
Co-ordinate estimating workload and delivery milestones in accordance with business priorities.
Ensure production of quality contractor estimates including application of appropriate norms, offshore allowances, unit rates etc.
Provide early estimates in support of change control and activity prioritisation processes
Experience
Technical professional with experience in the oil and gas or petro-chemical industry.
Knowledge of all phases of major oil and gas projects eg: FEED, Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), Commissioning, Start-up etc, and experience of the project sanction process.
Hands-on experience of using proprietary Project Controls tools.
Experience of working on projects with joint venture partners.
Experience of both brownfield and greenfield developments.
Skills
Educated to first degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject.
Chartered member of a relevant discipline (preferred).
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
