Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects
Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others.
Provide Project Management of high quality projects on time with improving overall product quality and maximizing utilization of project resources.
Coordinate all phases of the software development cycle against published project plans.
Work successfully across the cross-functional matrix including product groups, technical support organization, and offshore development.
Establish solid client relationships while managing client expectations and project deliverables.
Provide Technical Management through: technical oversight, understanding system architecture for all layers, participate in design sessions, contribute to functional specifications, collaborate in use case analysis, and develop test plans.
Support stability/availability products: product rollout, production support, issue resolution, post-mortem, and product uptime.
Support the technology organization: foster cooperation and differing opinions, demonstrate commitment to overall goals, follow established process, provide constructive feedback and lead our staff in doing the same.
Five or more years of project management experience in all phases of development life cycle of medium to large sized business systems.
Bachelor*s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or direct equivalent experience.
Excellent project management skills, including being detail-oriented and patience leading a diverse team. Must have strong technical oral and written communication skills.
Must be a team player with excellent customer interface skills.
Experience managing development teams using structured software development methodologies.
Experience in the development of requirements, functional specifications, UML, and test plan documentations.
