Project Manager

Currently, we are looking for a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams that envision, develop and test tablet-based curriculum products to support a tablet-based curriculum. This role will guide the efforts of a team of stakeholders from all levels of the company and external partners and vendors. The right candidate will lead teams through all phases of the SDLC. We are looking for candidates who can manage a project, which specializes in, one or more of the following areas: games production, video production, social media, interactive applications, and curriculum production, professional development and ELL/special education.

Create and track project plans, perform business analysis, write requirements, develop project estimates, follow Wireless Generation process standards to meet project objectives, manage scope throughout the project lifecycle
Deliver design and development projects on time, on budget, with delighted customers and a happy project team
Clarify and communicate technical project objectives and success criteria to the team while providing motivation, direction, and overall management to internal project teams and external vendors
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define development priorities and effectively manage development priorities to ensure timely delivery
Lead effective team collaboration meetings with team members at all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy
Manages day-to-day stakeholder interaction and expectations for multiple projects and/or large-scale projects
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate and/or propose alternative business solutions.
Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to senior management
Set project quality and performance standards and achieve defined quality and performance standards
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in the role of a project manager using a formal methodology to deliver software through all phases of the SDLC
Proficient in the use of technologies like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project scheduling tool (e.g. MS-Project, Smartsheet)
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess strong communication skills, team work and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and organization skills
Experience managing the creation and development of Games
Risk management and contingency planning experience
Experience managing the production of videos
Experience managing the implementation of social media applications
Experience managing the creation and development of interactive, educational applications
Experience managing the development of curricular content
Experience developing technical documentation used for training and/or reference guide; and conducting end user training
Experience and/or interest in ELL/Special Education/Accessibility; familiarity with 508 compliance
