Project Manager for Supporting Content will report to the Senior Project Manager and Director of MakerBot Studio. The right candidate will be responsible for the copy, photography, graphics, web delivery and the additional content that supports all Studio projects, including "owning" relationships with outside partners and freelancers. Guide the creation and production of multimedia content (e.g. animations, copy, graphics, illustrations, photography) for the Design Studio
Steer the storytelling and consumer experience of the sculpts produced in the Studio
Serve as the primary interface for outside contractors and freelancers
Prepare project descriptions and set up parameters of work for freelancers
Liase with internal project managers to ensure effective production of assets for the Digital Store--report progress to the Director and team
Promote a culture of excellence and innovation by contributing ideas that will strengthen our creative and organizational processes
1-2 years in a position of leadership at a startup or creative agency
Strong grasp of Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be a total go-getter
Must be proactive--able to think ahead and anticipate problems
Ability to interact effectively with all levels within and outside of the company
Maintain confidentiality of projects, products and work environment
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently; make decisions in management absence
Bachelors Degree or Bachelor of Fine Arts
