Our Searchlight product provides enterprise-marketing teams with crucial data that helps maximize their online marketing programs. We have thousands of users logging into our product every day and we collect over 4TB of heterogeneous data each week.
Conductor’s Engineering Team is building a distributed web crawling & data collection system that gathers and extracts information on millions of dynamic documents. Scaling the product to handle more data, more clients, and more server requests is a top priority for Conductor as we kick off 2013.
We are looking for a QA Automation Manager who can lead the existing team, ensure production code meets quality standards and streamline our release process. This is a hands on role and the perfect opportunity for a manager who likes to do the technical dirty work.
Manage Conductor’s QA and Release processes
Lead the existing QA team and provide senior level expertise and mentoring
Partner with the engineering and product team during sprint planning sessions
Track, analyze and escalate bugs and other production issues
Set key performance indicators and develop processes to ensure KPIs are met
Drive adoption of new testing frameworks and technology
Manage vendor relationships
You must have experience with QA automation tools in order to be considered for this opportunity.
What you need to know:
High-level of experience with testing high performance and big data web applications
Everything automation. You must have expert level experience using Selenium Webdriver and Selenium RC
Experience with data and keyword driven test frameworks. We use Robot Framework at Conductor
How to build automated performance tests with tools. Experience with Jmeter and LoadUI, preferred
Experience with integrating automated tests into a Continual Integration system. Experience with Jenkins, preferred
Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and TDD is a must
Scripting experience is a plus
