Overview
We are searching for a QA Engineer who can truly take ownership of product quality – someone who takes pride in shipping a quality product that enables our employees and clients to be successful. The right candidate will be curious, a strong problem solver, highly organized and detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with product management and engineering teams, in an agile environment, to develop a comprehensive set of tests for our web-based application
Assist product and engineering teams to define requirements
Run manual test scripts and maintain automated testing scripts
Analyze failed tests and manage defects using the bug reporting tool
Perform extensive functional, integration, security and UI testing
Collaborate with engineering to validate bugs and get them fixed
Experience
Self starter with a “can-do” attitude
Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and techniques
3 or more years experience testing database driven web applications
3 or more years experience writing automated tests for web applications
1 or more years of experience with Selenium Test Framework
Solid experience writing test cases and test plans
Programming/scripting experience in any programming language – Java preferred
SQL database skills (writing queries, interpreting results)
Basic knowledge of Linux
Experience in one of the follow areas a plus:
Sponsored search (i.e. Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft adCenter)
Search Engine Optimization
Performance Testing
Build / Release Management Tools (Ant, Maven, Ivy)
