Overview
We are looking for software engineers that specialize in software test, release and performance engineering. These team members will focus on our testing infrastructure, developing frameworks and methodologies to test the 10gen platform - application server, database, grid management and libraries. With new technology for an emerging technology space, we need test and release frameworks designed for the scale of software we are creating. See the above engineer job for more information.
Skills
Demonstrated experience in general software quality assurance practices, including automated testing for both backend infrastructure as well as UI.
Experience with release management and large-scale software deployement helpful.
Interest in being an integral part of the development team, participating from start to finish for each project. We're not going to be throwing code "over the wall".
Solid English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Education
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
