We are seeking a highly motivated engineer to join our software testing team.
What will you be doing:
In short you will be ensuring that our applications have great usability and are as bug free as possible.
In a little more detail the position will involve the following:
Testing multiple Aspera Desktop and web plugin applications;
Create, maintain and execute tests cases;
Define and implement automatic test cases (depending on experience and if this is an area you are interested in);
Participate in the design and implementation process of new and existing products;
Reviewing software documentation to ensure technical accuracy;
3+ years experience in testing desktop applications, both execution and test case creation;
Experience reviewing and commenting on product specifications;
Experience automating with Ruby (including RSpec), Python or Perl (is a plus);
Experience working with Squish for cross platform automation (is a huge plus);
Strong understanding of software engineering principles;
Expert at QA methodologies, tools and approaches;
Ability to work on multiple platforms (Windows, Linux and Mac);
