Overview
Working closely with our Project Manager, you will create, schedule, and conduct manual functionality tests for the re-launch of our consumer-facing website. You will provide the methodology to collect, house, and organize the data from these tests. You will assemble and lead a team of testers who cover multiple OS platforms, browsers, Flash player versions, and Internet connection speeds.
Responsibilities
Work closely with our Project Manager
Create, schedule, and conduct manual functionality tests for the re-launch of our consumer-facing website.
Provide the methodology to collect, house, and organize the data from these tests.
Assemble and lead a team of testers who cover multiple OS platforms, browsers, Flash player versions, and Internet connection speeds.
You and your team are to use scripts of normal and abnormal.
Use cases to test specific function requirements on our website.
Defects are to be identified and clearly communicated to the development team, along with the step-by-step processes used to reproduce them.
After defects are fixed, the team will retest to confirm that the defects are absent and whether or not new defects were introduced with the fix.
You and your team will verify that all required functionality is met.
Automated regression testing is not a part of this assignment.
Contract duration is 3-6 months.
Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in quality assurance testing environment
Skills
very organized
superb verbal and written communication skills
ability and experience in assembling and leading/supervising quality assurance teams
experience in designing detailed test procedures for manual test cycles for a website
Compensation
Fee is negotiable.
