We need a QA Engineer who is willing to learn fast, raise the quality bar for many different teams of developers working on accelerated schedules, and who can maintain a sense of humor under pressure. We focus on the quality of our products by both testing and influencing the development processes. This would include building test frameworks, driving the invention and adoption of tools, and advanced test methodologies.
Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer:
Be a part of a team that will own the entire Q/A Test process
Test scalable, reliable, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, and systems. We are an open source house using Java, distributed programming principles, and Object Oriented design
Be responsible for reviewing requirements for product or product-features
Identify risks and escalate when appropriate
Basic Qualifications of the Quality Assurance Engineer:
A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field
5+ years of proven software testing experience
3+ years of proven experience with industry standard test automation tools
Preferred Qualifications of the Quality Assurance Engineer:
Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
Proven experience working in Agile environments
Proven experienced in interacting and coordinating test activities amongst multiple teams in multiple locations
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven API and web service testing experience
Proven Automation experience using Selenium and JMeter
Skilled in risk assessment and impact analysis for software applications
Digital asset and rights management a plus. (DAM/DRM)
Knowledge of mobile device technologies (Android & iOS) a plus.
Linux based OS experience a plus.
