Overview
Instameet, Inc. is a seed-funded, disruptive new web startup designed to enable people to connect live in video chats around common interests. Institutional investors are already interested in leading and raising a considerable Series A round once the MVP is ready. As such, we're currently looking for a Full-Stack Developer to be tasked with creating the initial site - producing a true minimum viable product based on clear and validated concepts.
The ideal candidate will have recently attended a top Computer Science school or have several years of experience coding. Additionally, you will have a passion for rapid-iteration and experimentation. You must have an understanding of how startups operate, exceptional communication skills, strong critical-thinking, and be highly detail-oriented.
Compensation begins at up to $100,000 + Equity depending on experience but will be subject to increase with future rounds of financing and will increase as your experience and responsibilities increase. This position will eventually be responsible for helping select and lead future technical hires.
Instameet takes an experimental approach to development, and as such, you will have the opportunity to contribute on a high level as we intend to test our collective ideas and objectively discover the best ones by staying data-informed through A/B testing and analysis. Skills
Note: We are specifically looking for a Full-Stack developer who works with the latest technologies.
Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, jQuery.
Programming Language: Ruby (Rails).
Database: MySQL.
Compensation
Up to $100,000 per year and equity depending on experience.
