Responsibilities
Building a company that will be a household name in a year.
Experience
Experience working in fast-paced startups; preferably with a open systems, mobile and cloud flavor
Skills
Need SMART PROBLEM SOLVERS with expertise in at least two or more of the following areas:
Linux Sys Admin / Network Admin / Cloud Admin
Video and Stills: formats, interop, quality, compression, enabling advanced editing & live streaming
Web2.0: Ajax / RubyonRails / Django / HTML5 / CSS3 / DHTML / Yahoo-Google libraries
Java / J2EE / Ruby / XML / JSON / REST / SOAP / Perl / Python / PHP
iOS4 Dev: all aspects including location, accelerometer, camera, video, in-app-purchases, push notify, performance
Android Dev: all aspects including location, accelerometer, camera, video, in-app-purchases, notifications, multithreading, performance
Dev Support & Infrastructure (svn, bugzilla, memcached, hudson, etc)
Database: Postgres, MySQL, memcached, Oracle, database admin & performance management. NoSQL: Hadoop, Hive, Cassandra
QA: manual and automated testing, must be able to program (not just configure/use) the automation / Selenium / Mobile & Web 2.0 testing & automation experience
Education
Masters or Bachelors in CS or Engg
