The candidate for this position will be responsible for configuration management, and the building & releasing of our product releases to our customers. The candidate will work closely with our development team to ensure that we deliver timely, yet high quality releases to our customers. We are looking for someone to own the change management, build and test environments, and has the relevant experience to automate aspects of the build. Experience using Git to manage multiple code versions is a plus. We are looking for a strong and confident candidate who will help us improve our software delivery life cycle, to become more agile and to deliver software solutions of continually increasing quality to our customers.
Managing, automating and improving our existing software configuration management, test and integration environments.
Responsibility for all Quality Assurance, and our test strategy’s overall integrity. This includes developing and overseeing our software test plans and validation procedures
Quality assurance of new features for customer releases and new products as they roll out of our development team.
Continually improving our build, release and installation process
Making releases of the main product line and managing the bug fixing process.
3+ years in SCM, QA and/or release management professional experience
Experience with build scripts (Ant, Maven)
Understanding and application of configuration management patterns when managing multi-tier product lines
Ability to deploy and debug a J2EE application. Experience with Tomcat configuration is a plus.
A working knowledge of source control systems, preferably including Git
University Degree preferably in IT or Engineering
