Revenue Accounting Manager

The Revenue Accounting Manager will manage a small team and be instrumental in designing the financial accounting strategy to support the growth of the company including revenue recognition, financial reporting and analysis.
What you get to do every day:
Lead and manage a small team of Senior Accountants.
Oversee the recording of revenues in accordance with our revenue recognition policy and provide analysis for the Executive team.
Analyze and monitor the revenue accounts including deferred revenue balances.
Reconcile revenues on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis.
Assessing and revising accounting policies.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Report key financial performance statistics and management information.
Actively participate in month; quarter and year-end closes activities and assist with the annual audits.
What you bring to the role:
Substantial experience as a Senior Revenue Accountant with Big 4 or software startup experience.
Strong analytical skills are required as is the ability to research issues, prepare evaluations on problems and recommend viable solutions.
Ability to work independently on accounting projects with minimal direction and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
B.S/B.A in accounting or related field, Finance CPA (preferred).
Strong experience & proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis. Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Planning a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
